וַיַּשְׁכִּ֣ימוּ בַבֹּ֔קֶר וְהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁ זָרְחָ֣ה עַל־הַמָּ֑יִם וַיִּרְא֨וּ מוֹאָ֥ב מִנֶּ֛גֶד אֶת־הַמַּ֖יִם אֲדֻמִּ֥ים כַּדָּֽם׃

E si alzarono presto la mattina, e il sole splendeva sull'acqua, e i Moabiti videro l'acqua in qualche modo rossa come il sangue;

Red as blood. Such is the nature of water; when the sun shines on it in the morning, causes it to appear red.
